Games4u defeated Team Property 3-1 in the 2015 Nordic Masters to secure $4,755. While much of the CS:GO scene's attention yesterday was focused on the ESL One Katowice Main Qualifier, four Swedish teams were concurrently facing off in Nordic Masters 2015. The tournament featured 86,500 SEK (~$10,282) in total and took place in Älmhult, Sweden. In the semi-finals, Games4u—a mix-team which included fnatic's Robin "flusha" Rönnquist—took down Pt3eu with a comfortable 2-0 dismantling.
On the other side of the bracket, Property—who recently lost in the Grand Final of 99 Damage Masters to Danish TSM—played a closely contested series with their Swedish rivals Orbit. Orbit were playing with Mikail "Maikelele" Bill, who had stepped down from the active line-up of NiP and was filling in for the team.
In the end, Property prevailed with a 2-0 scoreline, with both maps coming down to a differential of 3 rounds or less. Orbit had no problems securing 3rd place in the tournament with an easy 2-0 trouncing of Pt3eu occurring afterwards in the third place decider. In the best-of-5 grand final, Andreas "znajder" Lindberg's Property got off to a strong start by winning de_mirage in overtime 19:17 against Games4u. Unluckily for znajder & co., the next 3 maps were all close victories for Games4u, with incredibly tantalising scores of 16:14 on de_cache, 16:13 on de_inferno and 16:13 on de_dust2.
