In the first matches of groups C and D Virtus.pro, LDLC and Na`Vi have defeated myXMG, ESC ja FlipSid3 Tactics ïn their opening round matches. First up from the three were the Polish side Virtus.pro, who wound up playing the Danes of myXMG on de_inferno to begin their campaign at DreamHack Winter 2014. Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski's team virtually secured a victory in the first half by scoring fourteen rounds on defense, and wasted no time in closing out the game with a 16-2 scoreline. DreamHack Winter 2014Best of 1 Next match ending was Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer's LDLC's debut in group C, against Virtus.pro's fellow countrymen ESC Gaming, with de_cobblestone drawn as the map for the game. If myXMG were dominated in their game, ESC fared even worse. The Poles won zero rounds as terrorists, and put up just four in the second half before being wiped out 4-16. DreamHack Winter 2014Best of 1 In the third match that has finished thus far from the last two groups, Natus Vincere took on the second place finishers of the Last Call qualifier, FlipSid3 Tactics. Despite Na`Vi putting up 13 rounds in the first half, Simon "twist" Eliasson's FlipSid3 mounted a small comeback after losing the pistol round, but ultimately fell short 8-16. DreamHack Winter 2014Best of 1 NiP have just started their match against Planetkey Dynamics, and Virtus.pro are scheduled to shortly go up against Natus Vincere to determine group D winners. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
